This is a newly designed folding stock for the MPX Pistol. We used one of the famous Fab Defense Polymer stock hinges as the starting point and custom adapted it to the cool MPX with our own CNC cut 6061 aluminum adapter. These are very solid platforms and lock up extremely tight when opened. They are spring loaded in the closed position and will lock closed with smaller profile ( thinner ) AR style buttstocks gently against the frame.. These mount by simply sliding the stock onto the rail and securing with the included Nylon tipped set screws . Takes less than 3 minutes to take on and off. We chose a couple different type butt stocks that fit the frame nicely when open as well as closed against the frame, while at the same time being very functional and visually appealing on this platform. These are 6 position commercial sized tubes and stocks slide in and out apx 3".
